L'Ouvrier

We originally Intended to head to Porchetta & Co but totally forgot that they are close on Sunday until we reach there (>_<) So we decided to head up the street for L'Ouvrier since I have been meaning to try it anyway (^_^)

It was packed when we arrive and
we just happen to get a table by the front at the only "fushia/red" table (^_^)

Is it just me or is everywhere using these Bourbon bottle to serve water?!!

Their French Press Coffee was super watery, did nothing for our daily caffeine crave :(

Potato Rosti, Smoked Salmon, creme fraiche, arugula, fried shallots, capers
The presentation was not that great as you can see with all the arugula and the small pieces of smoked salmon around.... the potato rosti was beneath it all but all in all it was delicious, rosti crispy and the salad so lightly dress perfect with the capers & salmon

French Toast, House smoked bacon, Ontario Maple Syrup
Again hate the presentation but love the sweet and savory combination

 Remember my outfit from here

Verdict :
It's a great space but hate the lack of thoughts in the presentation :(
I will probably give it another chance for dinner
