Starfish

We (as in me, Andrew @_aneb and Mary @citrusblack) had a sudden craving for oyster and Andrew suggested we head to Starfish Oyster Bed & Grill (@StarfishOyster)  for some major oyster time :)


We were seated at the bar right in front of Patrick (@ShuckerPaddy), just look at all his titles :
5 times Ontario Champion
4 times Canadian Champion
2004 North American Champ
2002 World Champ
2 times Fastest at Worlds
Guiness Book Record ~ 38 Oysters opened in one minutes



Hinterland Wine Company (

I am usually not a fan of sparkling but this one goes surprisingly well with the oysters.  


1st round of Oysters including Olympia (WA), Maresa (UK), Kumamoto (WA) and Galaway Flat (IRL)



Fish Chowder ~ so good ;)

And note that he put aside whichever oyster he open that he deem not fresh or pretty enough
to be use in soups etc...

~ wasn't a big fan of this one

Sticky Toffee Pudding 
As usual can't resist the oyee gooyee dessert, this was so good but we only order one to share

(according to Ben it was perfect w/ less force needed)

Verdict :
♥ Love Oysters, so I'll definetly be back and love watching Patrick shick :)
